Like Pantai Cenang, the core of Pantai Tengah is its wonderful coconut tree fringed beach that stretches for close to a kilometer. The area is adjacent and south of Pantai Cenang. In fact many hotels and establishments in this area claim to be in Pantai Cenang as there is really no clear demarcation between the two areas.
However a big difference is the relative calm and quietness of Pantai Tengah and its romantic ambience that are favorites to a large section of tourists. Several budget, mid-range and luxury resorts that have come up here, although not as many as in Pantai Cenang. Many of them are either on the beachside or having sea view.
Hotels in this area are reachable within 15-20 minutes from the airport. Entry to most of these hotels are from the main road Jalan Pantai Tengah or Jalan Teluk Baru that run through this area and parallel to the beach for some parts. There are plenty of restaurants on the roadside (both budget and upscale) and within easy access from the hotels. They give you nice dining options of varied cuisine.

This is meant for those who love to camp in a natural environment next to the water and surrounded by greenery. It's more like glamping (glamor camping) as you get nice amenities including comfortable tents, great food, shower & toilet facilities etc.

Located at northern end of Pantai Tengah (where Pantai Cenang ends) and close to Underwater World, the hotel has a nice garden setting. A short pathway leads to the beach where you can relax on lounge chairs. Offers free wi-fi at the reception area.
This is a 3-star resort located right on the beach and with its series of villas & houses overlooking the deep blue waters of the ocean and the offshore islands. The resort is an award winner and offers 117 rooms with modern amenities, but in a calm and serene ambience.
Although not easily visible from the main road, the approach leads to this charming and quaint boutique hotel in a garden setting. It offers 12 suites in villas with 3-star amenities including in-house restaurant, outdoor pool, free in-room wi-fi etc. Pantai Tengah beach is about 5 minutes walk from the property.
